Silver Needles Machine Knitting Club
Welcome to our machine knitting group. We are all machine knitters dedicated to keeping machine knitting alive and growing.
Silver Needles started in 1984 in Cortland NY. The group later moved too McGraw for its Saturdays meetings then back to Cortland to a larger facility.
To date we have over 35 paid and honorary members and seem to grow more each year. We meet the SECOND Friday of the month (except June and July) at the Cortland Masonic Lodge located at 1883 Rt 13 North, Cortland, NY at 10 am. At 1pm we will have a short meeting with reports from our committee members then back to knitting as that is what we are there for. We have a great group of member’s that are willing to help anyone so it doesn’t matter what level you’re at to join us. We can always learn from you too! We encourage all ages to knit. Anyone machine knitting under the age of 18 is considered an honorary member and no dues are needed.
