Silver Needles Machine Knitting Club is excited to invite you to our first Spring Retreat on Lake Moraine at the White Eagle Conference Center outside of Hamilton, NY. We’ve got a big knitting room with windows, all the meals are included, and accommodations are just a few steps away in cute little cottages. The facility is handicap accessible. We will set up our machines in the Cleveland Building. Tables, chairs, electricity are all there. It’s a nice big bright room, with windows along one whole wall. Coffee, tea, soda and ice water continuously available in our knitting area.
9 meals are offered, beginning with Thursday lunch and ending with Sunday brunch. The food is prepared on site. If you have dietary restrictions, please let us know in advance. The staff at White Eagle are happy to accommodate you, but need a couple of weeks’ notice. The lake is just feet away from the restaurant.
The Cottages are mostly double occupancy, with each room having a private bath, cable TV, AC, and free wifi. Alcohol is permitted except in the restaurant (due to their liquor license).
Lots of recreational activities are included at no charge: indoor games, a TV room, boating and fishing on Lake Moraine, volleyball, biking, jogging, and more.
Single Occupancy – $164 per person, per day (limited availability). Total Thurs lunch->Sun brunch $492
Double Occupancy – $119 per person, per day. Total Thurs lunch->Sunday brunch $357
Commuter- $45 per person per day (includes lunch and dinner buffet), $25 without dinner.
